Great old school service. They measure your foot and put the shoe on your foot and tie it for you. They offer other services like stretching shoes and shoe repair. If your having trouble finding the right fit stop in.

This was the first shoe store my husband has visited in 35 years that actually had shoes that fit him. They were also able to order him another pair in a different color. The people were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The shoes have helped a great deal with his plantar fasciitis.

Went in to find something to help with my plantar fasciitis issue on my left foot. The salesman took the time to measure my foot then he selected the best insert for my shoes that I had just bought from another store. Put them in my shoes and what a difference this place will be my go to for shoes …yes they are more expensive than in a big box store but they are specific to support and comfort this is my new go to place

Took my Dad there last week to get him a new pair of dress shoes, pr of sneakers, and a pr of slippers. We did well with the actual same pr of dress shoes he's worn for so many yrs and still had tread on the bottom. Amazing workmanship. They don't make them but they sell great footwear that lasts. We weren't in there 5 minutes and my Dad was attended to. And I love that they still measure your feet for you with the metal foot measure from so long ago. Sears used to do that but even when they were still open, they'd stopped measuring at all. Not an associate in the footwear area to do so. Sad how things that were a welcome event no longer exists for so many establishments. It felt good to have my Dad paid attention to at 91. We got dress shoes and a pr of what's called walk fit or Walk right sneakers. They balance you. It's awesome and the price was fabulous. The proprietor was so accommodating and professional as used to be yrs ago. Dressed himself very well also. Shirt and tie, dress slacks and shiny shoes. I give it a 💯% thumbs up. Kudos HOOKS SHOES 👞 👍😁

Friendly staff helped me get a pair of insoles that fit my big clown shoe( not acutely clown shoes :p) gave me solid advice on what kinda insoles I needed for my feet and a couple things I was doing wrong, kinda felt like I got a free consultation for a doctor who knows maybe the man I talked to was the orthopedists? Ether way very happy and will be back

The shoes here are kind of expensive, but they are worth it if you have foot problems. They do custom insoles and have a great selection. The pictures are shoes I recently purchased from this store.

Hook’s put new heels on my stilettos for just $15. What a steal to extend the life of my favorite shoes! They’re polite and prompt – my shoes were ready within a week. Highly recommended! We need to keep places like this in business!

Incredibly knowledgeable about feet and injuries. Suggested a lift for my foot,and measured it. I have spinal issues so the lift is so helpful. Love it there. Very kind staff.
